Sinopsis
En Chile, a 3,000 metros de altura, astrónomos de todo el mundo se reúnen en el desierto de Atacama para observar las estrellas. La transparencia del cielo permite ver hasta los confines del universo. En ese lugar, la sequedad del suelo conserva intactos los restos humanos de momias, exploradores y mineros, pero también de los prisioneros políticos de la dictadura. Mientras los astrónomos escrutan las galaxias en busca de vida extraterrestre, las mujeres remueven las piedras en busca de sus parientes desaparecidos.
Synopsis
In Chile, at 3,000 meters of altitude, astronomers from all over the world meet in the Atacama Desert to observe the stars. The air’s crispness helps them see deep into the universe. In this place, the dryness of the ground conserves the human remains of mummies, explorers and miners intact, but also of the political prisoners of the dictatorship. As the astronomers scrutinize the galaxies looking for extraterrestrial life, the women move the stones searching for their disappeared relatives.
